The weather has been abysmal lately so it's necessary to get out and do some things when the opportunity arises

a few hours between the showers produced enough to make the day worthwhile
even the odd herring made for a nice day with the prospect of kippers at a later date!

ReplyDeleteNice wee catch! Took the boat put on Sunday past, it rained for most of the morning brightening up in the afternoon, great July weather! Had a few mackerel, whiting and pollack, with a nice baleen wrasse and a wee doggie making an appearance as well. All in all well worth going out even just for the scenery alone!
